Just wanted to let you know how things are going. They’re going well as I’m still adapting to life here.
I just wanted to praise God that He’s really blessed me. I was worried with the credibility of the first neurologist I made an appointment with here, but as I was meeting with a woman who works for Bupa (the place where I get student health insurance here), she helped me reschedule an appointment with a neurologist who looks very credible and I actually get to meet him on an earlier date. And ironically it happens to be on the American Thanksgiving, so that’s something I can truly be thankful for!
The thing to pray for is the payment of that visit. It’s fairly expensive and Bupa, because I haven’t been with them for a year and I’m just a student, they’re not able to pay for it. However, I can look up for prospective traveler’s health insurances, or maybe my worker’s comp from the U.S. would assist me? I have no idea, so prayer is helpful on that front.
Other then that, I’m still becoming used to the life going around me. I’m still in the process but it’s slowly sinking in. Last week, I worked at the State Library of Western Australia and on the third floor there was this picture. Now, you can see what downtown Perth really looks like…
